I've been dabbling in knitting lately. Nothing fancy, just trying to get the hang of it. Here's a couple things I've made:

I've been struggling lately....I'm trying to figure out what specific area that I want to focus my business around. Some people focus just on hats or character hats, others it may be baby items but I'm trying to figure out what my niche would be. I love to make a lot of different things (some more than others) but I do know that I like the smaller, quicker projects. I tend to get bored with what I'm working on and start something new, and then not going back and finishing the other. And seeing all the new patterns on Ravelry and other places that I just want to try but just don't finish them. I also like to make things that are useful, hot pads, dish towels, cleaning stuff, card holders, wallets, baskets, small totes etc etc. I love amigurumi as well...LOL see I can go on and on.

My question is... How did you figure out what you wanted to make the most? Where you wanted to focus your time and energy on? I'd love to hear all the comments!

I'm currently working on some Christmas Items that will make great stocking stuffers!!! :) This is my Christmas Cup Cozy Collection. I'll be adding some Christmas Ornaments soon!

I finished up this cute little guy today! The purple minion inspired by the movie, Despicable Me. I've made a lot of the yellow ones but I just had to do the purple one!
This one fits a newborn, but I will be making them in all sizes. I've also added him to my etsy shop, Lady D Crochet

Awareness Ribbon - Free Pattern

I made this ribbon up for my Breast Cancer Awareness Steering Wheel Cover. I wanted to share the ribbon with everyone so we can all make stuff for the charities that are close to our hearts.

I used scraps pieces of Peaches N Cream crochet cotton.
H8/5.00mm Hook

Ch 31,

Dc in 4th ch from hook, 
dc in next st,
hdc in next 3 sts,
sc in next 7 sts,
sl st in next 3 sts,
sc in next 7 sts,
hdc in next 3 sts,
dc in last 3 sts.
Fasten off. Leave a long enough tail to sew onto your project.

That's it, your done!
